Personalized Support for NICU Families
Practical and emotional support from former NICU parents — including laundry, home cleaning, errands, lawn care, grocery shopping, and lived NICU support.
More Time Together
We help handle everyday responsibilities like laundry, errands, lawn care, grocery shopping, and home support so parents can spend less time managing life outside the hospital.
Real Conversations
Ask questions, share concerns, and connect with former NICU parents willing to openly share both the difficult moments and victories from our own NICU experience — from feeding challenges and NG tubes to balancing life at home during the NICU.
Customized to your Home
Affordable tailored bundled support designed to simplify life during the NICU instead of coordinating multiple services, added stress, and overwhelming costs during an already difficult season.
The Part Nobody Prepares You For
-
While your baby is in the NICU, everyday responsibilities don’t suddenly disappear.
Laundry piles up. Groceries still need to be bought. Other children still need attention. Keeping life functioning at home while spending days at the hospital can quickly become overwhelming for families already carrying emotional and financial stress.
-
That reality became deeply personal for our family in December of 2024 when our daughter was born at only 27 weeks.
What followed was 117 days in the hospital, including 103 days in the NICU. Like many NICU families, we found ourselves trying to balance hospital life, emotional exhaustion, caring for our one-year-old daughter at home, and keeping up with everyday responsibilities all at the same time.
During that season, we remember wishing there was one trusted place we could turn to for practical help from people who truly understood the emotional weight of the NICU journey.
That’s why we created NICU Neighbors.
-
NICU Neighbors was created to help families focus on their baby while we help with the rest.
Sometimes that means folding the laundry so mom can finally rest. Sometimes it means handling errands so parents can spend more time at the hospital. Sometimes it simply means mowing the lawn so dad doesn’t have to leave his baby’s bedside to take care of things at home.
By combining affordable home support with lived NICU experience, our goal is to help life feel a little more manageable during one of the hardest seasons a family can face.
From cleaning and grocery shopping to errands, lawn care, and emotional support, our services are designed specifically for the unique challenges NICU families experience.
